Seems Sea Lyons like to have as much fun as Otters. I was diving, as a dive master, with a class of the Coronado's just off the Mexican coast near San Diego. I almost drown laughing when I looked up at a student the instructor was doing some skill testing with. About a foot above the students head was a large Sea Lyon nose down slowing twirling above him. Both divers were unaware of what was going on until I caught the instructor's eye and pointed above him. They love to buzz diver too. I often would look up just in time to see a seal arch up and go over my head, missing me by inches, at high speed.Brad W SV Perfect Wind or (Ka Makani Olu Olu)
That's funny, who knew sea lions had a sense of humour! We loved swimming with them.
